The design Jupiter embodies our approach to audio. It captures the sonic qualities we’ve spent years cultivating. Integrating four balanced armature drivers and tubeless resonator into a machined aluminum enclosure. Hard anodized finish and detachable cable. Hand built in Portland, Oregon USA.
Campfire Audio's Orion was the result of exploring a philosophy of reduction and simplification. As a result of that exploration we discovered a remarkable sounding earphone.
The Orion has a top to bottom coherence reminiscent of a dynamic driver. With the detail and clarity only possible with balanced armature drivers.
But we wanted to explore further still. To discover what might be possible cultivating that pure sound of Orion. Many thousands of hours later the quad driver earphone Jupiter was completed. Steady patience and with close attention to our sound, we molded the exceptional essence of the Orion into the Jupiter.
The Jupiter utilizes a unique approach to achieve its soaring high frequency response. An optimized resonator assembly replaces the traditional tube and dampener system of may earphones. This system's high frequency extension is unattainable by with the more common conventional techniques. The result is a clear and clean refinement of the high frequency produced. Superior micro detail and imaging. This advance to our HF response allowed us the freedom to further refine low frequency. Extended bass without bloat or loss of control.
Jupiter articulates the Campfire Audio sound in a way that is sure to delight. Listening to music will once again become the joy you remember it should be.
Special attention in our design focused on bringing out the high frequency extension. As a result far out extension is delivered with clarity and definition. A top end without edge. The mids remain balanced and open. Vocals retain their natural tonality with engaging presence.
And the low frequency extension plums the sonic depths with a steady hand. Subterranean frequencies are transmitted with visceral precision. The bedrock foundation for the earphones sound.
The careful selection of each driver. The meticulous assembly of each earphone. Each is critical in delivering the musical excellence from Jupiter. Each driver is selected for its close conformity to our firmly established tuning criteria. The earphone's internal assemblies are prepared with a careful eye on the finished product. These elements are all hidden once secured and sealed in final assembly. But our close attention at this stage ensures a lasting finished product. The earphones are then assembled by hand in small batches. This assures our full attention remains with each one we produce. Each assembled earphone is then measured, matched and paired. Each earphone finds its best possible match.
The machined aluminum enclosures sets our earphones apart. It also propel them towards sonic excellence. The aluminum dampens and isolations the drivers.
